First MHE Mechanised Parking System in Singapore
Security of vehicles and optimisation of space is of utmost priority.
Club Street in Singapore is well-known for its eateries and pubs, and as a result, there is a high flow of traffic in the area. For greater convenience to drivers, the Singapore Land and Transport Authority replaced its conventional car park with a mechanised parking system.
The system, which was installed, tested and commissioned by MHE Singapore is one of the best systems from DongYang Menics Co., a Korea-based company. Its four-storey storage and retrieval system consists of 140 parking spaces and drivers can expect to retrieve their vehicles in an average time of 90 seconds with its three lifts. This is made possible by a central computer system which optimises the turnaround of the vehicles.
As the system is automated, nobody is allowed to enter the parking area. All the car owners need to do is key in their security code, and the system will advise the owner where to pick up the vehicle. This ensures there are no worries concerning the security of the vehicles and the land is used productively.
