MHE supplies heavy-duty rolling shutter doors for normal temperature warehouses, providing a high level of security and protection with aesthetic values. There are two types of rolling shutters- rolling steel doors and rolling aluminium doors.
Rolling Steel Doors
- Consisting of slats made from roll-formed first grade high-quality phosphated galvanised steel with a reinforced interlocking groove and an auto cut-off edge end lock to achieve maximum holding strength to each interlocking slat.
- With steel bottom bar and side guides
- A shutter enclosure box on top
- All steel slats and the enclosure are powder coated
- Motorised operation with pushbutton control
- Manual opening and closing with a galvanised chain link
- Available slat thickness: 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 and 1.5 mm thickness
Rolling steel doors are also available in an INSULATED double-walled version with rock wool or PU (polyurethane) filling for thermal or noise control.
Where all-round ventilation and light is required, rolling steel doors can be made in a VENTILATED slat version with vent holes to allow air and light to pass through.
Rolling Aluminium Doors
- Consisting of slats made from extruded first grade aluminium with a heat treatment to T5 structural strength and anodised to 10 microns
- With steel bottom bar and side guides
- A shutter enclosure box on top
- All steel slats and the enclosure are powder coated
- Motorised operation with manual gear reduction gearbox
- Manual opening and closing with a galvanised chain link
- Available in slat thickness: 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 mm thickness
The above doors can come in options such as:
- Fire Rated version
- In powder coating finish or non-surface painted (for steel doors)
- With bottom bar safety edge (to prevent door closing when obstructions occur)
- With a thermal fusible link (to activate closing/opening) when a fire occurs in the building
- See-through windows
